Planning, construction and installation of the beams loading system on the debarker’s entry roller platform and the consequent unloading from the exit roller platform.
STRUCTURE
The system is made up by 5 uploading arms on which the beams will be leaned on, the same beams will be transferred on the debarker’s entry roller platform with a double chain system, which assures the beam’s loading, one at a time, however the operator will be able to lean more beams on, according to the capacity.
The beam is transferred against the alignment references and a sensor system, which assures the correct alignement, it is then leaned on the roller platform, which starts transferring it toward the processing while the alignment roller is keeping it against the references during the translation forward.
Once processed and come out from the debarker, another 5 arms system proceeds with the processed beam loading from the exit roller platform, which transfers it toward the references, where it is unloaded through a forklift.
The loading/unloading arms have a length of 2,0 meters with a loading/unloading availability of 1,2 meter because 0,8 meter is needed for the alignment system and because it is the part that vanishes under the translation level of the roller platform for beams support/lifting.
PNEUMATIC INSTALLATION
The arms are split in one initial fixed part and one moving part which is inserted between the roller platform’s rollers and this moving part can be placed above the rollers level, through the pneumatic cylinders employment, allowing the beams alignement before their support/lifting.
The cadence system also uses a pneumatic system so that only one beam is transferred toward the alignment part.
ELECTRICAL AND SECUTIRY SYSTEM
The arms have an electric panel which verifies the chains rotation of the loading arms as well as the unloading arms and all the sensors that contribute to cadence the beams sliding in both directions.
The arms system will be implemented with the handling of roller platforms and moreover, the emergency circuit will be unified with the debarker so that a potential malfunction of any element composing the line, will proceed blocking everything.
